Bio
Ellora Burns doesn’t just light up the stage at Alchemy Theater—she brings a little magic to every world she steps into! This 18-year-old performer first fell in love with the arts at 4th Avenue Arts in 2021, launching a journey that has taken her to incredible venues like the Grand Ole Opryhouse, the Huntington Museum of Art, the Cleveland Dance Festival, the Mid-Atlantic Dance Intensive, and the West Virginia Dance Festival.
She has trained with an impressive lineup of professionals, including Lorraine Graves, Jamal Story, Shelby Nelson Burcham, Robin Riner, Mashawn Morton, Cyndi Mac Fuller, Nicholas Van Young, and Jessica Fox. Under the mentorship of Shelby Nelson Burcham and Mark Smith, Ellora keeps growing her artistic limits.
But when the stage lights dim, she trades in pirouettes for pets—of the eight-legged variety! A passionate future entomologist, Ellora adores her three tarantulas, two scorpions, gecko and her black cat, Binx. And when she’s not tending to her tiny, fascinating creatures, she’s in the garden, proving that both plants and pets help reduce stress.
