Bio

Tyler Kinser, a native of Belfry, Kentucky, started doing theatre at age 17. Not having any local theatre in his hometown, he would drive an hour every day after school to Logan for rehearsal. He has since been doing theater for almost 7 years now. 

He has worked in Logan with companies “The Aracoma Story” and “Southern Coalition for The Arts”, and in Huntington with “HART in the Park”. His favorite roles include Lord Farquaad in "Shrek the Musical," Rum Tum Tugger in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "CATS, and The Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz." Tyler has worked both on stage and behind the scenes in 11 musicals, 3 plays, and 12 murder mysteries. 

Tyler has worked at the Cross Lanes YMCA Early Learning Development Center as an after-school counselor, where he proudly worked closely with neurodivergent children and children in the foster care system. He wishes to pursue a career working with children in the future.
