Bio

Cameron’s love of singing brought him into the theater after a middle-school production of The Music Man, Jr. This led to joining show choir in high school, participating in his high school’s annual musical productions,  and after graduation, getting involved with community theater. A native of Charleston, most of Cameron’s on-stage work has been with the Charleston Light Opera Guild, where he has served as a board member since 2019. Cameron first worked with Appalachian Artists Collective in 2016, under the direction of Leah Turley, when cast in “The Last Five Years”. Working with AAC brought a renewed confidence as an actor which spurred Cameron’s interest in traditional plays. Cameron is excited to be a part of bringing to life another Ash Gill production.

 

Cameron is a State Farm Agent in South Charleston, WV. He resides with his husband, Austin, their cat Jessica, and their two dogs – Jeb & Judy.
