Jennifer Stapleton grew up in the creeks and hollers of the Ohio River area in South Point, Ohio. With an undergraduate degree from Marshall University and a graduate degree from University of Rio Grande, Jennifer currently teaches at Chesapeake High School. A former poet laureate of Lawrence County, Jennifer often writes books of poetry no one will see until after she is dead. Jennifer has one son, Trey, and admits her one true accomplishment is having successfully raised him to adulthood - and she only lost him once! Owned by an overweight teacup Yorkie named Harley, Jennifer is accomplished in giving belly rubs, taking long walks, and providing treats. If Harley allows her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, hunting for shark teeth on the beach, and making quilts.
